THE CATNIP BROTHERS
A remarkable cast of characters join me in this simple declaration of love for the music of the great Western Swing bands of the 1940's and 50's.  From Bob Wills to Ernest Tubb, Jimmie Rivers to Red Foley and Smokey Wood, this band of high flyers swings it nice and easy (and sometimes good and hot), for your drinking, dining and dancing pleasure.  Featuring James Mason, Jeremy Wakefield, Rusty Blake, Ian Miller and Brent Martens.

THE PETE KREBS Duo/TRIO
This suit and tie, decades-old musical concoction of mine is perfect for weddings, corporate events, private parties, demolition derbies, and galas.  A swinging archtop cocktail of Django Reinhardt Gypsy jazz and the great American songbook, this little band delivers the music of Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Irving Berlin with style, humor, croon and class. Featuring Brother Ian Miller and Brent Martens (the Cary Grant of Portland Musicianeers).

THE FREAK MOUNTAIN RAMBLERS

Started by Jimmy Boyer decades ago, The Freak Mountain Ramblers have grown over the past 25+ years into a PNW institution and ‘keepers of the flame’ of the musical legacies of The Holy Modal Rounders, The Clamtones and Dan Hicks. Featuring Dave Reisch and Roger North (of the original Rounders), along with Taylor Kingman and Tate Peterson, it’s a primitive, psychedelic, heartfelt, stomping good time.

SLEEPY LAGOON

I get to be a steel guitar player with this crew of reformed shoplifters. Rusty Blake on guitar, Doug Sammons on rhythm and vocals, and Brent Martens on bass. Cinematic in conception. The sounds of the Hawaiian steel guitar mixed with hot jazz and swing era guitar playing.
